MCA Extends Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme (CCFS-2026) to August 31, 2026

In a significant relief to corporate entities and stakeholders across the country, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has announced an extension for the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 (CCFS-2026). Originally set to expire on July 15, 2026, the scheme’s validity has now been extended up to August 31, 2026.

The official announcement was made via General Circular No. 03/2026, dated July 8, 2026, signed by Nupur Aishwarya, Deputy Director (Policy).

Reason for the Extension

According to the circular, the decision to grant an extension stems from ongoing capacity enhancement and restoration activities being conducted at the MCA data center. These technical interventions became necessary following a fire incident that occurred on June 5, 2026, which impacted system operations.

To ensure companies face no hurdles due to these technical restoration efforts, the government has extended the timeline to give everyone a fair window to complete their filings.

What is the CCFS-2026?

The Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 was introduced by the MCA to provide an opportunity for companies to clear their backlogs and complete pending statutory filings. It acts as a transitional window for organizations to ensure they are fully compliant with regulatory requirements without facing standard delays or heavy penalties.
